This Tuesday, Editor and Filmmaker Justin Joseph Hall joins Filmmaker U! In this episode Justin talks with us about his amazing projects in multimedia, his work process and some great career advice for aspiring filmmakers. Tune in!

Justin Joseph Hall is a multi-lingual, award-winning multimedia storyteller and founder of Fourwind Films. His work has been acquired by major television networks like HBO and worked on award-winning projects that received industry recognition including—The Emmys, Tribeca Film Festival, and Brooklyn Film Festival. Early on in his career, Justin learned two things: first, hard work was the key to getting to where he wanted to be in the movie industry, and second, if it was hard for him to make it here, it was equally if not more difficult for others. So, Justin decided to execute his vision to create a production company that supports fresh voices in storytelling and technique, and in 2014 Fourwind Films was born, to nurture, promote, and amplify voices that statistically get lost or overlooked in the movie industry and society. Movies that Fourwind Films has produced or co-produced have been screened and won acclaim domestically and internationally. Prologue is a superb and surreal exploration of relationships and miscommunication winning Best of Awards at Manhattan Film Festival and Worldfest Houston International Film Festival. Paper Geese was an official selection at the Uppsala Short Film Festival and the Bolton Film Festival in London. Abuela’s Luck was picked up by all HBO’s streaming platforms and slated to be adapted into a full-length feature movie. Justin’s work as a director includes Prologue, Long Distance, the series Artist in the City, and Frames of Reference a multi-continental documentary feature that explores seven cultural perspectives on education—which is currently in post-production.
