No Problem by Chance the Rapper feat. Lil' Wayne & 2 Chainz

When I heard Chance’s Coloring Book for the first time, I couldn’t believe my ears.  Every individual sound on the album was crystal clear.  It didn’t matter how many instruments, or voices were brought into the mix.  They just laid next to each other bouncing and harmonizing.  There is no track that epitomizes that layering of sounds than No Problem which has the biggest ear worm I’ve heard created in the last ten years.

Chance the Rapper

Almost every time I listen I get the chills.  It’s like if Kanye’s amazing ideas had perfectly rounded edges, but then you get the attitude of the chorus and it flows so smoothly into Lil’ Wayne.  I can’t even believe that’s Chance’s voice at the beginning.  It’s just so much attitude that reveals so much emotion that’s inspiring and joyful.  Even 2 Chainz comparing an emotion to diarrhea feels empowering and joyful.

I think the amazing thing about the song is it keeps the emotion up for 5 minutes straight.  So much so I almost never listen to it once, which is not my M.O.  There’s something about any song that Lil Wayne comes in to lay down some words.  He wanders so far, but always fits the vibe by staying nonchalantly in time.
