We Don't Even Know - Ep. 31: Saundra Williams, Adam Lowitt - March 31, 2015

It's Spring time in New York City! Yes, it's is still chilly, overcast and we are all tired of the winter. In honor of the Spring that has not happened, Shonali brings in the March episode of WDEK in a purple dress, a sun hat, sunglasses, bright green bucks as in shoes and shaking her pom poms. Christian had nightmares the night before the show. The entire audience monitors Christian and Shonali's use of "like", "um", "wow" and "no."

Our first guest is the talented singer Saundra Williams. She is a member of new Daptone recording artists, Saun and Starr, and also a back-up singer for Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. She's from the South Bronx and has been singing since she was a young girl. She talks about her journey as a performer, including church choir, her father, a wedding band, her special relationship with Starr Duncan Lowe and Sharon Jones, appearances at Live at the Apollo in Harlem and so much more. Saun and Starr just debuted a new video featured a soul funk hit called Big Wheel.

Our second guest is comedian and executive producer of the Daily Show, Adam Lowitt. Adam is a newlywed and Shonali recently attended his wedding. Adam sent himself to Outward Bound for a reason. He also helped build part of the Appalachian Trail. Adam sits beside John Stewart during writers' meetings. All the writers bomb in front of John when preparing for the show. Jason Lam was in consideration (in his own mind) as John Stewart's replacement. Check out his audition tapes. Do you know what Adam's dad's name is? Let us know. Do you know how to pronounce Shonali's name? Neither does Christian. Happy Holidays everyone!

We Don't Even Know - Ep. 29 - Darell Hunt, Greg Barris, Tevis Trower, Seaton Smith, Dawn Landes - Jan. 27, 2015

Happy New Year! WDEK enters 2015 on the day after the NYC blizzard bust called Juno. Ain't no stopping us. Darell J. Hunt joins Shonali as our special guest co-host as Christian is acting in a hit off-Broadway play called Great Lakes. Shonali has been stalking Darell on the internet since she saw his video Soul Train Babies! Owww! on YouTube this past summer. You should stalk him too. We were joined by four incredibly talented people in this episode.

0114_029_WDEK Seaton Smith Darell Hunt Shonali Bhowmik.JPG

Comedian Greg Barris talks starting comedy at age 9, young roommates, and Mind Warriors. Work life balance coach Tevis Trower teaches people how to chill out.

Comedian Seaton Smith has been smoking too much weed, sworks it and discusses the ups and downs of show business.

Musician Dawn Landes a former Kentuckianan has been working on a musical called Row and is playing at Lincoln Center on Valentine's Day. Go see her in her new cape! Here Dawn sings two of her original beautiful songs, Bluebird and Money In the Bank. Thanks to DJ Duane Harriot for bringing his WDEK playlist for the after party and thanks to everyone who made it out to the show! We luv it! We will see you at the February show when we discuss Katy Perry's Super Bowl wig!

Ep. 29 - Darell Hunt, Greg Barris, Tevis Trower, Seaton Smith, Dawn Landes - Jan. 27, 2015

We Don't Even Know - Ep. 30 - Danny Cohen, Sharon Spell, Early Riser - Feb. 24, 2015

Christian returns from performing in the Off Broadway run of the hit play Great Lakes! Shonali and Christian survived Hurricane Sanday, Blizzard Juno but not the 2015 Oscars. They go on and on and on about it. WDEK is 30 episodes into its existence and but the temp is way below 30 degrees in NYC! Christian relates the temperature to crazy behavior on the subway.

Special guest comedian Danny Cohen is a stencilist and recently discovered marijuana. He rides the Q train and has a torn meniscus. He feels like he is a failed comic but Shonali knows otherwise. He owns his own home!

0346_WDEK 030_HiFi_Christian Felix Shonali Bhowmik Sharon Spell.JPG

Our next guest is comedian and artist Sharon Spell who has been sober as of a year ago and is feeling good about it. We are too. She is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi has nice snow boots and also has a torn meniscus like Danny. She is more southern than Shonali and calls her father, "Daddy."

Our musical guest is Early Riser (Heidi Vanderlee and Kiri Oliver) who so graciously played an extra song for us which was the debut of a new song, they have never played live before in front of an audience. The song is called OH NEVER MIND! And we were all like, YEAH WE DONT MIND! You ladies are fantastic. ENJOY!

Ep. 30 - Danny Cohen, Sharon Spell, Early Riser - Feb. 24, 2015

We Don't Even Know - Ep. 28 - Todd Barry, Marcellus Hall, Jo Firestone - Nov. 25, 2014

Our Thanksgiving episode includes a star studded lineup with the one and only comedian Todd Barry, the talented illustrator and musician Marcellus Hall, and game show expert - the charming comedian Jo Firestone. Thanksgiving begins with going home for the holidays and most of the members of our studio audience did not. Shame on you. Christian and Shonali discuss what is annoying about the holidays.

Special guest comedian Todd Barry joins us for the first time. Just who was Todd in high school and college? Did he get "after it?" You already know that Todd is a very famous comedian, but did you know that he just released a comedy tour film called Crowd Work Tour via LouisCK.net? Purchase it now because it's GREAT. Christian learns the meaning of a new word which truly isn't user friendly.

Marcellus Hall tells us about his recent illustration gig, going on a road trip with an international group of chefs in the Yucatan and illustrating the party. Some guys have all the luck. Marcellus plays two brand new songs for the first time live on We Don't Even Know. Some audiences have all the luck.

22 Christian Felix Shonali Bhowmik Jo Firestone.jpg

Comedian Jo Firestone has a horrible flashback. Have you ever kept a secret? Do you have a 5 year plan! Jo has done both. Jo hosts her own live game show with her dad, Fred Firestone here in NYC. Find out why Jo does not appreciate Gillian Flynn. Listen to Jo's Dr. Gameshow on WFMU on Monday nights. Thanks to everyone who attended the show. We will not be having a show in December. Our next show is in January. We will see you then. In the meanwhile share this link with others and Happy Holidays everyone.

Ep. 28: Todd Barry, Marcellus Hall, Jo Firestone - Nov. 25, 2014

We Don't Even Know - Ep. 27 - Phoebe Robinson, Joe Celej, Sarah Dooley and Sefa, the Podcast Crasher, October 28, 2014

Tis the season to go to a Haunted House and discuss all things scary. Shonali has a tough time with one-liners that aren't funny. Christian has a hard time with compliments. Yeah, we don't even know.

Our special guests are comedian Phoebe Robinson, dancer Joe Celej, musician Sarah Dooley and a special surprise guest - Sefa, the Podcast Crasher. Phoebe discusses paying dues, soap making, Blaria, freelance writing and exactly why African American women pat their hair.

9342_WDEK_027_Christian Felix Shonali Bhowmik Joe Celej.JPG

Dancer Joe Celej, started tap dancing as a 3 year old and has danced with his most recent dance company for 9 years. He has met the squirrel whisperer, introduces us to Leomy the street dancing sensation, and explains the "Death Drop." During our Halloween Trivia segment, a gentleman stood up and started giving feedback on WDEK. His name is Sefa, the Podcast Crasher. Shonali was kind enough to invite him to the stage. Christian was semi entertained. We found out he is a comic, who spends lots of time at UCB. His favorite diner is Neptune's in Astoria.

Our final guest was musician and comedic actress Sarah Dooley! Life after graduation for Sarah has included coaching sports for babies and issuing her first full length album "Stupid Things." She sings "Watching Goonies At My House" and "Stupid Things." Buy her album now! Enjoy!

We Don't Even Know - Ep. 26- WDEK at HiFi w Amy Ryan, Jena Friedman, Roger Clark and Matt Whyte - September 23, 2014

Christian and Shonali host another edition of WDEK in front of a live audience at HiFi.  Special guests include actress Amy Ryan, comedian Jena Friedman, NY1 reporter Roger Clark and musician Matt Whyte.  Christian has a brand new industrial blender and cooking injury. If you had to get plastic surgery, what kind would you get?  Even Justin shares his thoughts?  What is it like to become a professional actress just after high school?

Academy Award nominated actress Amy Ryan answers that question and more.  Catch her in Birdman with Michael Keaton, Louder Than Bombs with Gabriel Byrne, and Steven Spielberg's newest with Tom Hanks.  Unbelievable right?

2014-09-23 WDEK Justin Hall Shonali Bhowmik Amy Ryan Christian Felix.jpg

Comedian Jena Friedman shares her insight into the ebola epidemic, Letterman, The Daily Show and American Girl mania.  Follow her on Twitter ya'll.

One of our favorite tv personalities, NY1's morning features reporter, Roger Clark is a bowler, a rock n' roller, and sometimes gets star struck. Have you seen him doing parkour, air guitaring to Rush, or break dancing at the Flushing YMCA?  Check out his band Perp Walk.

Musician and former Earl Greyhound, guitar player/vocalist, Matt Whyte just finished a new solo release called Rupe Shears.   Find out why kids in high school liked him outside of the fact he wore Malcolm X glasses. For the WDEK audience he played two songs.  One called The Hoover Dam, and the other was a Bossa Nova tune, which he sang in Portuguese so we have no idea what that one was called.

Stay tuned for a pic of Christian's injury.

Ep. 26: Amy Ryan, Jena Friedman, Roger Clark and Matt Whyte - September 23, 2014

We Don't Even Know - Episode 25 - Shonali's Show And Tell (Special Live Show) - August 26, 2014

WDEK 025 100 Shonali Bhowmik.jpg

Our programming changes up a little with this episode. Continuing on the heels of our first We Don't Even Know live show at HiFi last month, while Christian is out of town - Shonali curates a new monthly show at HiFi in the East Village. This one is called Shonali's Show And Tell.

Shonali along with her special guests: Starlee Kine (This American Life), Duane Harriott (WFMU, Negroclash), Katina Corrao (stand up extraordinaire, actress) and Jason Trachtenburg (musician, Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players). Listen now to find out what types of stories come from a birthday card received in junior high, a Chinese newspaper, a sealed Russell Crowe CD, a peeled grape in a plastic bag and a pair of nice binoculars. Enjoy! Christian is back next month for another edition of We Don't Even Know. Starlee is missing from this picture.

We Don't Even Know - Episode 24 - Special Live Edition at Hi Fi - July 29, 2014

For only the second time ever, We Don't Even Know was taped in front of a live audience (1st time being on the eve of Hurricane Sandy), but for the first time ever, this was in a bar with a proper sound system and a full bar in close proximity to the audience.  The lineup for our special live edition of WDEK was a dream come true for us.  And the show was a blast.  First, we must disclose that we had some technical difficulties at the top of the show.  Let's just say, it was the first time Justin, did live sound in such a setting and Christian had train issues - along with 50 people staring at them while we were trying to get everything working right.  It may have been for the best, because Christian and Shonali's rendition of You Don't Have To Be A Star is probably something that doesn't need to preserved for eternity. Let's just say this was a special gift for the audience who joined us in the new backroom of Hi Fi, formerly the legendary rock n' roll venue Brownies, located in the East Village.  We will probably be doing many more shows in this venue - while also continuing to do our regular in studio episodes.

In terms of the show, we are happy to share with you actor extraordinaire, Jason Butler Harner, who just co-starred with Greta Gerwig in the play, The Village Bike, and is currently finishing up work as a young Christopher Walken in the new feature, The Family Fang with Nicole Kidman and Jason Bateman.  Most importantly Jason had a nice segue to Christian's story about wanting privacy in the bathroom.  Who doesn't

Our next guest, was Shonali's longtime friend and musical talent Chris Maxwell.  He sings for us and shares his witty stories of days in Arkansas playing rock n' roll as a teenager and more recently as a guitar player in a band called Skeleton Key in Brownies in the mid 90's.

We were lucky to have the smart, witty, and stylish comedian Aparna Nancherla perform and talk to us about many things, including her general state of anxiety.  Lastly, Shonali took it upon herself to find the gentleman who created one her favorite videos, Soul Train Babies.  She clicked and clicked until she found a message link on the YouTube video, and asked if by any chance he lived in NYC.  That's all it took!

Ladies and gentlemen, Darell J. Hunt, the genius behind, the YouTube video, Soul Train Babies, was our final guest, and shared lots of his wisdom including, his nostalgic view of "Hood" life.  Please be sure to look up all these amazing people including yourselves.  It was wonderful to be in an intimate space with you, laughing, talking, and drinking!  Thanks to all of you that came to the show!  We look forward to seeing you at our next show. Please share this show with your frenemies.

We Don't Even Know - Episode 23 - Adam Wade - April 23, 2014

Still cold in NYC! Shonali and Christian are happy to have been able to enjoy some warm weather in other cities. Christian travels with a hungry German Shepherd and a lady who will be jamming up in heaven. Shonali, Justin, and Christian celebrate the success of their short film Sardines Out of A Can, the winner of the Best Romantic Comedy Short Film at the Bare Bones Film Festival in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Shonali's parents share their expert thoughts on the newest Late Night tv hosts and the future of the Late Show. Shonali's mom is way ahead of Shonali when it comes to keeping up with Comedy Central. Adam Wade, the 18 time Moth Story Slam winner and co-star of Sardines Out of A Can is our special guest. Christian's newest hashtags are #DestinationSlice #3StoriesInOneNight #MarieIsListening. Hoboken has happily adopted Adam. Adam hosts his own UCB East show called The Adam Wade from New Hampshire Show. Go see it. He also teaches storytelling classes at The Magnet Theater. Shonali, Christian, and Justin are going to take his class. Come join us. Our Episode 22 song is Luna by the band Fear of Men.

We Don't Even Know - Episode 22 - Bridey Elliott - March 16, 2014

Whoa! It's already St. Patrick's Day weekend - Christian and Shonali have way too much to catch up on. We talk Riverdance, Bronies, and walking strategies for New Yorkers. Shonali is dissed by her dad. Christian is in a TMZ phase. Shonali bombed an audition and Christian booked his. We share diatribes on hipster diatribes. Our special guest this episode is comedienne and actress Bridey Elliott. She just returned from Austin, where the film in which she co-stars, Fort Tilden, just won the Grand Jury Prize at SXSW. We talk animal handling, teen age angst, and growing up in a comedy family. Her father is Chris Elliott, sister is Abby Elliott, and grandfather is Bob Elliott. We also talk boyfriends, strategies for avoiding getting raped, Siri and butt dialing. In addition to acting, Bridey does stand up and is also performing in Absolutely, her Maude Night improv group at the UCB Theatre. We had so much fun having Bridey as our guest. You will hear Shonali laughing the ENTIRE episode. GAWSH! Our Episode 22 song is Sunshine Love by Rikki Ililonga.

We Don't Even Know - Episode 21 - Pete Miser - January 21, 2014

Happy New Year to all our WDEK listeners. Things are off to a good start in the WDEK studios with Christian and Shonali both getting sick over the holidays. We are having a snow storm right now. Christian talks about story hijackers and Justin lends us his thoughts. Parents think they are better drivers than their kids and that's a fact. Shonali's mom sends Christian a special FB message. Subway sightings include a dancer at Union Square platform and a man with a carryon and a tennis racquet.

Our special guest is Pete Miser, the legendary front man of Five Fingers of Funk from Portland, OR and a rapper who has released 4 full length albums of his own, while helming the board at his own Ho House studios in Tribeca. He's worked closely with Dido and Imani Coppola and is always making new music. Pete comes bearing gifts. This one is especially for Christian and his former thigh chafing issues (as heard on Ep. 4). Pete was a B-boy who started to rap at age 16. He will fill you in on what's happening in hip hop today, and what's not. Did you see the Indian dancing boy star on India's Got TAlent? Are musicians sellouts for putting their music in commercials? Shonali is reading the Miles Davis Autobiography. Sounds are a singular experience. You can hear them by just reading about them. Pete makes his world debut of Hands Up 3.3 on We Don't Even Know! Put your HANDS UP!!!!!

Episode 21: Pete Miser - January 21, 2014

We Don't Even Know - Episode 20 - Shalewa Sharpe - December 11, 2013

9450 WDEK 020 Christian Felix Shalewa Sharpe Shonali Bhowmik.jpg

The trees, the lights, the people, the shopping ....ugh! Shonali has a new look. Marcellus Hall just had a release party and his Afterglow CD is available on Band Camp. Christian calls Shonali "perky." Holiday angst on the subways and streets of New York. Gift giving is not so easy. Christian uses the term "viral vids." Tigers & Monkeys have a new CD, The Animals Will Forgive Us Again coming out January 7, 2014. Episode 20 guest, Shalewa Sharpe is all about gift receiving this year. Christian calls Shalewa "perky." Some people are bold and break into millionaire's homes and throw parties. Some are even bolder and steal snow leopards. Shonali understands animal facial expressions. Did you see the fake sign language translator on the Mandela Memorial? Shalewa is a rising comedian, former adult video store clerk and a new New York transplant from Atlanta. There are some surprises to working in an adult video store. Long ago, Shalewa shared a very important video with Shonali. Shalewa had low expectations of her comedy career when she arrived to New York. Lots of comedians talk about their junk. Dad's stop understanding their daughters after they turn 9. Justin and Shonali are going to Minneapolis for a free Sardines Out of A Can screening party at Varsity Theater, Wednesday, December 18th at 7:30pm. Shalewa is at The Creek and The Cave, December, 16th in Long Island City for Caught On Tape. Deerhunter is a great band from Atlanta. Here is their awesome video Back To The Middle. Happy Holidays! Don't let your family get to you!

Episode 20: Shalewa Sharpe - December 11, 2013

Episode 19 - Jeffrey Gamblero - November 4, 2013

9256 WDEK 018 Jeffrey Gamblero.JPG

Happy Halloween! Happy Diwali! Happy November! Shonali just got her tooth drilled at the dentist office. Tooth ash was spewing everywhere. Christian was beligerant on Halloween, not just beligerant, but the Beligerant Yogi. Pictures are up on our FB page. Christian's landlord took his family on vacation to Burning Man and we're not judging. Christian, Shonali, Justin and special guest Jeffrey Gamblero have never been to Burning Man, so we don't even know. Bathroom attendants are a thing of the past, thank goodness. It's always so awkward. Christian ponders whether its the noises or the smell that would be the worst Have you seen the Jumbotron at Barclays Center during a Nets game? If so you definitely saw our Ep. 19 guest up there! Our "Uber" guest is Jeffrey Gamblero, a super fan of Brooklyn Nets, former professional poker player, graffitti writer, artist and current Lofty Goals NYC art collective partner. There is a viral meme out now with him on it regarding the Nets win over the Heat. Jeffrey did not have gambling groupies while he gambled. His beautiful wife to be, Kristi Evans, with the beautiful hair, is his partner in Lofty Goals. Jeffrey and Kristi will be hosting interactive art shows - ie. gambling for art. Our special music comes from Four Tet, a song called Parallel Jalebi in honor of Shonali's newlywed friends.

Episode 18 - Rashida White - October 8, 2013

Christian celebrates his birthday in a new graphical Urban Outfitters sweatshirt. Disclosure, WDEK Ep. 18 does not cover the Government Shutdown, Miley Cyrus or twerking. Shonali and Christian question the intentions behind gift giving. Christian is impressed by Shonali's first official home office chair with movable arm rests and lumbar support. Shonali is screening her short film Sardines Out of A Can in NYC on Oct. 24th at Wythe Hotel. Christian had a role on Guiding Light, better than that, he auditioned for All My Children via a self taped video and we have the proof. The next generation of techies are gamers. Kids today can sneak on to planes, steal SUVs and hack phones and tablets. The empathy sucker - smartphones as per Louis CK and Christian. Our special guest is a former Apple technician, teacher, writer, musician and DJ extraordinaire Rashida White. Rashida and Shonali met as volunteers at Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls. Have you tried Alchemy Vegan Ice Cream. Shonali tried to make a video letter for Bloomberg. Our song of the episode is Lazy Soldier by Sam Jayne (Love As Laughter).

Episode 17 - Greg Johnson - September 10, 2013

7002 017 Greg Johnson.JPG

Christian and Shonali are back with a summer recap! Highlights include Chuck. E. Cheese, a 20 year old Ford Aerostar Van, a special summer care package and a dirty driver's license. Christian has a special relationship with the TSA and body scanners. The heated NYC Mayoral race brings out the best in our current Mayor. Robots are taking our jobs. Did Watson, the Jeopardy computer ever lose? We are hiring fact checkers at WDEK. Our special guest is comedian and longtime friend, Greg Johnson. Christian, Shonali and Greg worked in a major Manhattan lawfirm together. Greg is a former "Chron King" and "Bros Blog" writer. He is known as the "best blogger alive." Greg teaches us complex job exit strategies and how to get Cher to respond to your tweets. Greg coined "war dialing." Remember our story from Episode 16? What's with all the hoax viral videos these days? Our music this week comes from the American brother and sister folk duo (Brad and Jessical Lauretti),This Frontier Needs Heroes with a song called George Clooney.

Episode 17: Greg Johnson - September 10. 2013

Episode 16 - Dakota Hall - July 16th, 2013

Happy Heatwave to all of you. Christian and Shonali discuss the unique New York City sights, sounds and smells that happen during a week long scorching heatwave. Our latest episode is brought to you from Justin's apartment in Bushwick recorded live in front of a studio audience; Justin's mom- Dorie, Dad - Mark, and little brother Dakota who happens to be our special guest this episode. Krissy Chula has a meltdown along with our friend who is responsible for inserting the term "war dialing" into our vernacular. We discuss phone etiquette and Christian's rules for modes of communication. Our special guest, 16 year old Dakota Hall is from Walker, Minnesota, knows everyone at his high school, plays the piano, and listens to Jack Johnson and John Mayer (whew! for a second there we thought he was going to be listening to someone we had never heard of - turns out we were way off. We probably heard of them before he was born.) Shonali would like to go to Walker for the weekend Eelpout fishing festival they have in February in an ice village on a lake along with 10,000 people. It may just be the heat. Savages are an English all woman band that rocked Shonali's world a few weeks back at Webster Hall in NYC. Here is the first song of their debut full length Silence Yourself. The song is called Shut Up.

Episode 16: Dakota Hall, Justin's 16 Year Old Brother - July 20, 2013

Episode 15 - WDEK Moms - May 5, 2013

For our Special Episode 15 Mother's Day edition of WDEK, we talk to the WDEK Moms. Shonali avoids getting spit on in the subway. Christian shares a story about a boy and his piggy bank. We first talk to Shonali's mom, Shubha Bhowmik who lives in Nashville, TN. She loves comedy and tv shows on TV Land. Giving birth to Shonali was no big thing.

As for Justin, his mom, Dorie, lives in Walker, Minnesota and was a radio broadcaster and host of her own variety radio show. She tells us about Justin the lost adventurer. On one of his trips, Justin was confused when he was in Frankfurt, Germany instead of Frankfurt, Kentucky. Dorie also is a musician and has released some albums. We will play her Polka, Waltzes, and Foxtrots soon.

Christian's mom, Madeleine lives in Evanston, IL and tells us some unexpected stories about Christian. Madeleine like Christian has a beautiful way with words. Teasers are Mother Theresa, to-do lists, and a hole in the wall. We all love our mothers so much. Now that may seem obvious, but heck it's not true for everyone. We feel lucky. Thanks Moms! We love you. Tame Impala takes us out with Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind!

Episode 14 - Nimesh Patel - April 21, 2013

Our hearts go out to the city of Boston and all those affected by the awful attack they endured last week. Due to the high pollen count in NYC, Shonali's asthma has been flaring up and Christian is of no help. Christian's barber knows foreign policy. Little things can get under your skin, like babysitting the babysitter or an entitled toddler in Prospect Park.

Our WDEK Episode 14 special guest is Nimesh Patel who comes straight out of Jersey. He is Indian, but grew up in Jersey, lives in NYC and is a comedy finance guy. Yup, very unique. He promised us on Friday he would be hung over on Sunday morning, and he accomplished his goal although we couldn't really tell. He was as fiesty and belligerent as he usually is. Ep. 11 guest Marcellus Hall turned Shonali on to Nimesh's comedy. Nimesh advises Shonali to use Vicks for her asthma and informs us on a number of Indian cure alls. Nimesh killed it at his office holiday party and gained mad respect. Ladies, Nimesh is on Tinder (the Grinder for straight people) if you need some tenderness. Ever heard of the "We Just Got of Jail" comedy show? Nimesh hosts a Monday night show in Williamsburg, at Bar Matchless called Broken Comedy. He wants you to come to his show on April 29th. He's hosting a special pilot taping of Minority Report. Our new music, comes from the amazing, Shannon Wright. She has a new release titled In Film Sound coming out next month. This is the first song, Noise Parade. She is currently on tour in Europe and will be in the US next month.

Happy Spring everyone! Here at WDEK Headquarters we are eagerly awaiting the warm weather which brings sunlight, vacations, drinking, working out, the beach, wearing short shorts, speedos, and mini skirts. To help us look good and laugh hard for the spring is our special guest Renaud "Reno" Villacis, Shonali's physical trainer and comic relief in the gym. Shonali got a new haircut and is wearing her high waisted jeans. Christian is wearing a headband. Justin is going to his godmother's for Easter. Christian coins the term "life fans." WDEK is blowing up on FB with new "likes" from all over the country. The current North Korean dictator looks like a lonelier version of his dad. Team America is hilarious. Reno will not date a woman that litters. Listen carefully to Reno's eating and exercise tips. Reno's favorite girl is his dog Chloe. Guess which one of us wears Speedos? Reno has a tattoo on his neck and he regrets it. If you want to check out some of Reno's work outs on his youtube channel at RockReno1. Reno will not return to Ecuador. Reno met a special woman via a smoothie. Boney M's Rasputin has 26 million views.

Episode 12 - Hadiyah Robinson - March 17, 2013

1137 We Don't Even Know - 012 Shonali Bhowmik & Christian Felix.JPG

Top O' the Mornin' To Ya! I've always wanted to type that! Lucky for us, WDEK was recorded live on St. Patrick's Day, and Irish Christian Felix made us some tasty Guinness Chocolate pudding to enjoy during the show. Our special guest was comedienne, former MTV employee and all around awesome lady, Hadiyah Robinson. She claims she is Irish too. We are all frightened of bed bugs and roaches. Have you been to John Early's Showgasm? It is frighteningly wonderful. There are a number of ways to burn off your hair. Men, we've said it before, please don't groom yourself too much or too little. Easy enough, right? Hadiyah does not like male back hair. Shonali does not like ear hair. Christian tells Shonali to embrace her baby moustache. Do you have a kickstarter campaign? Justin was part of a terrible Kickstarter campaign. If you have one, let us know and we will post the link on to our FB page please. We just may donate to it. We'll have to think about it. Hadiyah is from Michigan. She performs stand up all around the city and on tv. Please check out Hadiyah's 365 Days for Oprah here. Crazy coincidence that Hadiyah is featured in the April issue of O Magazine, which drops on March 19th, her birthday. Today! There is a Brooklyn experimental jazz electronic duo called Live Footage. Their tune Nomadic Ant ends the show. Alright ya'll, we hope you enjoy.

Episode 12: Hadiyah Robinson - March 17, 2013
