Justin Joseph Hall is an award-winning, multilingual Director and Founder of Fourwind Films and Quatre-Vents. He’s worked as a lead creative on projects that received awards at The Emmys, TriBeCa Film Festival, & Brooklyn Film Festival and two that were acquired by HBO.
The son of two teachers from the Midwest, Justin’s smooth, melancholic juxtapositions create beauty from chaos. Due to filtering unceasingly through the history of cinema his work finds fresh space for audiences.

Artist & the City (2021), Justin’s docu-series on creative careers, won 6 awards including the Audience Award for Best Series at YoFiFest. Prologue is a surreal exploration of relationships and miscommunication winning Best of Awards at Manhattan Film Festival and Worldfest Houston International Film Festival. He’s currently editing his first feature Frames of Reference which travels to seven schools across six countries, exploring how educators cultivate kids' capabilities.

Axios (2018-2021)
Justin’s held positions as Editor for networks such as NBCUniversal, PBS, & History. He helped pitch and develop the Axios (2018-2021) as Senior Editor for the Emmy-winning documentary series. His mastery of post-production and the visual arts has awarded him opportunities to work for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Discovery, Major League Baseball, & BMW to name a few.

Justin’s shoots well with natural light and makes do with what the budget allows. He believes beauty is not symmetrical and tells the natural beauty of a complicated reality to tell the story. He colors his own work.

Long Distance (2014)
Justin started playing keyboard at age 6, guitar at 7. saxophone at 10, bass guitar at 11, and wrote his first song soon after. He’s released 3 albums under the name Ender’s Child and composed for one movie. He also aids in sound design for the movies and podcasts he edits.

Justin has spoken about workflow and the Post-Production process technically and creatively at HBO and the Catalyst Film Festival. He also speaks English, French, Italian, Spanish, & Portuguese and has worked in all of those languages for networks brands like Amazon, Pinterest, & L'Oréal.
